Biography

Patcharavipa Bodiratnangkura designs contemporary Fine Jewellery for the modern women and men, creating heirlooms for future generations.  Her designs known for an aesthetic audacity and a delicate handling of materiality and texture.  Each creation is defined by the sensuality of its volume, a love of surprising contrast, a reverence for its artistic inspiration.

Patcharavipa began making Jewellery at the age of thirteen, drawing inspiration from her family heirlooms, life and legacy. She was born in Thailand into an illustrious clan of inventors, developers and philanthropists. Most notable is her maternal great grandfather, Nai Lert, a beloved transportation and real estate visionary. 

Patcharaviapa’s love of making Jewellery convinced her to go to London to study at Central Saint Martins, she unequivocally graduate in 2014.  Then went on to become a certified gemologist obtained from the Graduate Diamonds Program at the Gemology Institute of America and the Color Stones Program at the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences.   Shortly after she returned to her hometown, Bangkok to find her team of goldsmiths and officially launch her own brand in 2016.

Patcharavipa strives to champion female empowerment and values hand craftsmanship through her designs; she has made it her mission to preserve the legacy of Thai craft and expertise of Jewellery making.  She channels the values of a traditional Japanese aesthetic, Wabi-Sabi, through her designs – A world view centred on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is described as one of beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.  Her mission is to create Jewellery to remain in generations to wear and adore.
